Jonathan E. Beck, D.O.

Dr. Beck pursued much of his medical training in Pennsylvania, receiving his degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and acting as chief resident at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Dr. Beck received an undergraduate science degree from Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia, and obtained his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He interned at Martin Place Hospital in Madison Heights, Michigan. He returned to Pennsylvania to undertake his residency in Family Practice at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, which is affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He became chief resident at Shadyside.

Dr. Beck is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He maintains close ties with the medical profession through a number of organizations.  He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice, a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians. He is on staff at Abington Memorial Hospital and Central Montgomery Medical Center.


Jacqi Pagenkemper, P.A.-C.
Jacqi Pagenkemper, PA-C joins our practice after working in internal medicine for several years.  She received her Bachelor's Degree summa cum laude from Philadelphia University in Physician Assistant Studies and her Master's Degree from Philadelphia University in Physician Assistant Studies as well.  Her interests include women's health and preventative care.  Jacqi is involved with promoting the physician assistant career at the state level with the Pennsylania Society of Physician Assistants as the chair of the Public Relations and Education Committee, as well as the national level where she is a Pennsylvania delegate to the American Academy of Physician Assistants' House of Delegates.  She enjoys traveling and reading. 
Shayamala Baskaran, P.A.-C.
Born in Southern India and raised in New York City, Baskaran moved to Philadelphia to pursue her degree in Physician Assistant Studies.  She completed her Bachelors & Masters degrees in Physician Assistant Studies at Philadelphia University. 

She is particularly interested in Women's Health and Adolescent care.  She enjoys family practice as it focus' on primary preventative medicine &  patient education. 

Baskaran is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants. 

Sharon Gomez, C.R.N.P.

A Certified Registered Adult Nurse Practitioner, Sharon Gomez received her master’s in nursing from nearby Gwynedd Mercy College. She treats patients who are 12 years of age and older.

Raised in Lower Gwynedd, Sharon Gomez received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Hofstra University in New York. She obtained her master’s in nursing and graduated with honors from Gwynedd Mercy College in Pennsylvania, where she also was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International, the honor society of nursing. Before receiving her nursing degree, she worked as nurse manager in a Broomall, Pennsylvania, Alzheimer’s and dementia unit.


Charles B. Kish, D.O.

Dr. Kish was born and raised in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. During his diverse career, he has held positions as research scientist, faculty member in anatomy and physiology, and family physician.

r. Kish received undergraduate and graduate science degrees from East Stroudsburg University in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. He obtained his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and trained at Suburban General Hospital in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

During his varied career, he pursued scientific research at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, and taught Anatomy and Physiology at East Stroudsburg University. A family physician for more than 20 years, Dr. Kish also is a certified medical review officer who reviews federal drug screening results for area businesses. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, and maintains ties with professional organizations such as the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Association, and the American Osteopathic Association. He is affiliated with Central Montgomery Medical Center and Mercy Suburban Hospital.

Dr. Kish is strongly committed to volunteerism and community service, and enjoys gardening and biking.


Morris J. Kliger, D.O.
Dr. Kliger has practiced family medicine in the Lansdale area for almost 20 years. Dr. Kliger is an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.

As an undergraduate, Dr. Kliger attended Pomona College in Claremont, California. He traveled east for medical school, receiving his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He interned and fulfilled his residency at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital in Highland, Michigan.

Dr. Kliger has been a family physician in Lansdale for almost 20 years. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of General Practice, and affiliated with Central Montgomery Medical Center and Mercy Suburban Hospital. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Medical Association.

Linda A. Nadwodny, D.O.
Dr. Nadwodny was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. Her practice interests include preventive medicine and women’s health issues.

Dr. Nadwodny has practiced in the Lansdale area since 1998. She received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and took a residency in Family Medicine at the Crozer Keystone Health System in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. She received several awards during her training, including The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Resident Award and the Crozer Keystone Health System Resident Quality Assessment Award. Prior to medical school, she practiced as a registered nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Dr. Nadwodny is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians, and on staff at Central Montgomery Medical center. She enjoys caring for whole families, and is particularly involved in preventive medicine and women’s health issues.

Jeffery H. Portner, M.D.
Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Dr. Portner’s medical experience includes service in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. His practice interests include chronic headache syndrome, preventive medicine, and cardiovascular disorders.

As an undergraduate, Dr. Portner attended Penn State University, was a member of the University Scholar’s Honors Program and graduated Magna Cum Laude. After being awarded a scholarship from the U.S. Army, he obtained his medical degree from the Milton S. Hershey College of Medicine at Penn State University.

After completing a residency in Family Medicine at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Portner served in the U.S. Army in a variety of locations, including Central America. He attained the rank of Major and remained in the Army reserve for several years after completing active duty military service. Dr. Portner is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice, and is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is on the medical staff at Central Montgomery Medical Center.

Married with two children, Dr. Portner’s hobbies include reading, classical music, ice hockey, and cooking.

Catherine Shields, P.A.-C.
A physician assistant, Catherine particularly enjoys providing cross-generational care to families. She completed her physician assistant studies at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey at Rutgers.

Catherine was born and raised in Rochester, New York. As an undergraduate, she received a bachelor’s degree from Penn State in biobehavioral health with a minor in Spanish.


Catherine’s interests in medicine include preventive care and patient education. She particularly appreciates the special opportunity that family practice affords: providing continuity of care from one generation to the next.

Jeffery P. Strikowsky, D.C.
As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Strikowsky is active in preventing and rehabilitating work-related injuries. He has been a Montgomery County resident for 32 years.

Dr. Strikowsky received his undergraduate degree from Penn State, and obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic, where he graduated first in his class. He has continued his education with over 300 hours of certified courses in rehabilitation and work-related injuries, and shares his skills by working with the Red Cross as a certified Back Safety instructor. He is listed with over 35 area businesses as an approved worker’s compensation panel doctor.

Dr. Strikowsky is professionally affiliated with the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Assocation and the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce. He leads business-to-business workshops, attends trade shows, and consults privately on preventing and rehabilitating workplace injuries.

Dr. Strikowsky, who has been a Montgomery County resident for 32 years, lives in the Lansdale area. He and his wife Andrea have two children.
